Road Trips and Camping

Non camping travels during the six years before 2023 included twice a year to Florida; twice a year to Rochester, NY; four trips a year to Milwaukee.

When camping, I was Social Distancing before it was cool.

2022, camping trips along four Illinois lakes, and trip to Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Glacier National Park in Montana,
Banff Canadian Rocky Mountain National Park in Alberta and a week in Wyoming with 20 Northwestern campers.  

2021, 5 weekend camping trips along Illinois lakes and one big trip starting along the Illinois and Michigan canal, next stop Indiana, next stop climbing "caves" in far East Ohio, back to Indiana to find nine 1800's covered bridges, Nashville campground to see the the Johnny Cash museum and a plantation tour, finally to Cumberland Falls, Kentucky on the brightest full moon of the year to see the midnight Moon Bow.

2020 camping trips along three Illinois waterways, one massive lake in Wisconsin and big trip to parks in Wyoming including a state park at Cora and Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Devil's Tower National Park.

2019 camping: four weekends along Illinois waterways and one camping trip north of Wisconsin Dells.

2018 camping trips to Kalamazoo, Michigan; Elkhart, Indiana; Racine, Wisconsin; and three to campgrounds in Illinois.

Holidays
Easter in Shannon, IL, Thanksgiving in Spring Valley and Christmas in Milwaukee.
Each Holiday with members of the my great family, whom I love.
